Sylvia Elizabeth Fingerle Osar, 11:00 a.m. Thursday

Sylvia Elizabeth Fingerle Osar, age 84, of Munfordville, died Saturday, at Medical Center at Caverna.  She is survived by six daughters, Virginia Ann Moore and husband Jim, Sussex, NJ, Ellyn Marie DeCasanova and husband Jose, Sylvia Elizabeth

Kircher and husband Wayne, Pattison, TX, Mary Elaine Young and husband John, Perry, GA, Phylis Clare Murphy and husband Gary,  Munfordvillle, Cathleen Szabrat and husband Sinclair, Washington, DC; three sons, Harold James Osar, Jr., NJ, Evan Matthew Osar and wife Jenice, Chicago, IL, Vincent Paul Osar; one sister, Louise Worman, Deposit, NY.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Caves Catholic Church St. Benedict Hall in Horse Cave with burial in the St. Benedict Cemetery at Wax. A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Brooks Funeral Home.

Edwina Stinson, 93, died Monday, December 19th, at her residence in Cub Run. She is survived by six sons, Percy Stinson & wife Lucy, of Cave City, Delma Stinson and wife Mamie, of Cub Run, Charlie Stinson and wife Brenda, of Clarkson, Larry Stinson, of Cub Run, Jimmy Stinson and wife Julie, of Munfordville, Roger Stinson and wife Mimi, of Leitchfield. Ten daughters, Antionette Thompson and husband Marvin Ray, of Cub Run, Linda Clark and husband Danny, of Leitchfield, Janice Cottrell, of Elizabethtown, Kaye Taylor and husband Randall, of PeeWee Valley, Martha Matney and husband Shorty, of Glasgow, Carolyn Gibson and husband Michael, of Munfordville, Marsha Webb, of Munfordville, Sherry Roberson and husband Ben, of Tompkinsville, Mary Lisa Davidson and husband Danny, of Glasgow, and Tammy Hendron and husband Jamie, of Glasgow, one brother, James Clemons, of Louisville. Funeral mass will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church with burial in the St. Benedict Cemetery. Visitation: Sego Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. The body will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church.

Frances McDowell, 93, formerly of Bonnieville, died Tuesday, December 20th, at Daisy Hill Assisted Living in Versailes. She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Dunn & husband Larry, of Versailes, one son, Gary McDowell and wife Macy Rae, of Munfordville. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Sego Funeral Home with burial in the Memory Park Cemetery. Visitation: Sego Funeral Home.

Garnetta Laverne Glass, 84, of Plum Springs, died Monday, December 21st, in Scottsville. She is survived by one daughter, Laverne Childers, of Bowling Green, two sons, Garry Glass, of Bowling Green, and Sammie Glass, of Sweeden, one brother, Garnie Hawks, of Scottsville. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel with burial in the Wingfield Church Cemetery. Visitation: Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.
