Mt. Olivet Baptist Church will have revival services beginning Wednesday, September 21st, through Saturday, September 24th, at 7:00 p.m. nightly. Bro. Chuck Templemen will be the evangelist.
A fall revival will be held at Sulphur Well Methodist Church Wednesday, September 21st-24th. The evangelist will be Eddie Stearns and the pastor is Roger McKinney.
Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church will have revival services Wednesday, September 21st - Saturday, 24th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each evening. Bro. Bobby Wood will be speaking each night.

Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Fall Revival will be somewhat different this year. On several nights in September and October, guest preachers will be preaching. On Friday, Sept. 23rd, Bro. Stanley Watson will preach, on Sept. 30th, Bro. Joseph Harris will preach. In the month of October, the first revival night will be on Friday, October 7th with Bro. Bobby Wood, the 14th with preaching by Bro. Carl Edwards and on October 21st with Bro. Danny Webb. The pastor is Bro. John Hubbard and all services will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Seven Springs Church will have revival services beginning Friday, September 23rd, through Sunday, Sept. 25th. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. each night and a morning worship service will be Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. Cliff Adkins will be the evangelist and the New Calvary Echos will sing. Bro. Joe Milby is the pastor.

A Poker Run will be held for Breast Cancer Awareness on September 24th. First hand will be Open Road USA at 204 North Mulberry Street, Elizabethtown, and last hand will be at Vaughn Reno Starks Community Center. The route will be given the day of the run. Registration will be held from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. and the entry fee is $15 for riders and $10 for passengers. All bikes are welcome. For more information, call 270-312-6798.
Echo Mission Church will host an All Day Singing Saturday, September 24th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The singing will feature, We're Blessed, Renewed, Gospel Cavaliers, Trinity Gospel Aires and others. River Point Church presents the 2nd Annual Green River Music Fest will be held at Thelma Stovall Park on Saturday, September 24th. There will be food, inflatables, knockerball. Proceeds will benefit the Hart County Backpack Program and financial and peanut butter donations will be accepted.
A historical exhibit will be at Cave City Hall during Proud Days. The exhibit will be open to the public Saturday, September 24th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be lots of pictures and information on display.
Cave Country Lions Club will offer FREE eye screenings at City Hall Saturday, September 24th, from 10 to 4. Participants will also receive a voucher for a bag of popcorn from the downtown booth. The Lions Club booth will be open Friday and Saturday during Proud Days where chances will be sold on a rifle. The drawing will be September 28th. All proceeds will go toward the club's special projects. The Lions Club will also be collecting used eyeglasses.

Rowletts Baptist Church will hold it's annual homecoming Sunday, September 25th. Sunday School begins at 9:30 followed by the morning worship service at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Dwayne Cook will be preaching. There will also be special music provided by the Spirituals, from Edmonton, at 11:00 a.m. A potluck meal will follow.
Revival services will be held at Whickerville Baptist Church in Hardyville beginning Sunday, September 25th, at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Bro. Wayne Morgan will bring the message and the pastor is Bro. Philip Hiser.
Horse Cave Methodist Church at the corner of Edwards Avenue and College Street will have a re-dedication of the sanctuary with a special celebration Sunday, September 25th, at 10:45 a.m. Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m. A potluck meal (meat provided) will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.
Grace Union Baptist Church will host a Taco and Movie Night Sunday, September 25th, starting at 4:00 p.m. The church is located 3 1/2 miles from Edmonton on Hwy 496. The pastor is Bro. Troy Cook.
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church will begin revival services Sunday, September 25th, at 10:30 a.m. and continue nightly at 6:30 p.m. through Wednesday, September 28th. Bro. A benefit singing will be held Saturday, October 1st, at 6:00 p.m. at the First General Baptist Church of Shepherdsville at 445 West Blue Lick Road. The singers include: The Samaritans, the Turner Family, The Cumbos, Heavens Calling, The McCoys and Gospel Harts. All donations will go to New Zion General Baptist Church in Louisville, which is in need of roof and a/c repairs. Concessions will be available after the singing.

Dinner with the Basket Makers will be held Friday, October 7th, at the Old Munfordville Inn, Washington Street, from 5 to 7:00 p.m. This will be an informal, pot-luck dinner, hosted by Hart County Historical Society board members and basket makers. You may also bring your baskets for an opportunity to learn more from an expert's opinion. The cost is $10 per person and $15 for a couple, for the dinner and a basket review, or bring a dish.

An adult class on basket making taught by Beth Hester will be held Saturday, October 8th, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Munfordville City Hall. The total cost of the class will be $25 per person. Advance reservations are required by Friday, September 30th.
UCW Wrestling Fundraiser will be held Saturday, October 8th, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tompkinsville High School Gym. The proceeds will go to the Monroe County Fire & Rescue Squad. All day homecoming services will be held Sunday, October 9th, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. The group "We're Blessed" will sing at 10:30 est followed with preaching and a potluck meal.
The Bonnieville Church of God of Prophecy will host a Cowboys Chili & Lunch on Sunday, October 9th. Those wanting to ride horseback to church will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Silver Spur Saddle Club in Bonnieville. There will be a Chili-Cookoff with one horse and rider receiving the Kids Choice Award. The Annual Stan Cottrell Clothes for Kids Fun-Run-Walk will be held Saturday, October 15th. The walk begins at the traffic light in Munfordville at 8:00 a.m. and will travel to the WLOC Radio Station in Horse Cave. The walk is just over 9 miles. The cost is $10 and includes a free t-shirt. 1st Annual Run/Walk 5k will be held Saturday, October 22nd, in Munfordville at 7:30 a.m. The walk is hosted by Karen Roten and proceeds will go to River Pointe Church Mission trip to Poland. A Car Show/Yard Sale will be held Saturday, October 15th, at Whickerville Baptist Church in Hardyville. The entry fee is a donation and the car show begins at 10:00 a.m. with judging at 2:00 p.m. This is for cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles.
