July 6th, 2025

John Campbell from Columbia KY will be preaching and singing on Sunday night, July 6th, at 5:00 pm . Brother Bobby Neal invites everyone to attend church located 680 Old Glasgow Rd Horse Cave.

 

July 10th, 2025

Vacation Bible School will be held at Salem Baptist Church in Cave City Sunday, July 6th, through Thursday, July 10th, at 5:30 p.m. nightly. The week begins with fireworks and a cookout event Sunday evening and Bible school is available for all ages. For more information, call 270-773-2346.

 

July 11th, 2025

Cram the Cruiser will be held Friday, July 11th, outside Hart County High School parking lot on the Lonoke Road side. Come out and donate school supplies for our kids in Hart County.

 

July 12th, 2025

Pleasant Valley Baptist will have vacation bible school Saturday, July 12th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The theme is "Magnified" from Psalm 34:3. There will be Bible Study, crafts, recreation, food and a water slide. The church is located at 6070 Lonoke Road, Horse Cave.

 A benefit for Jeff Davis will be held at Grab-A-Hook Catfish Paylake & Grill Saturday, July 12th, beginning at noon. There will be plate lunches, a silent auction and gospel singing begins at 4:00 p.m. The restaurant is located 2895 Hwy 1464 Greensburg in the Grab community, look for the big blue building. July 14th, 2025

Horse Cave Cultural District Arts & Sciences Summer Camp will be held during the week of July 14th-17th. Ages 5-8 will learn Art 1 STEAM projects and ages 9-12 will learn about Rocketry and Cave Adventures.

River Pointe Church presents singing by the group Eternal Vision. The singing will be held Friday, July 18th, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

 

July 19th, 2025

River Pointe Church is hosting Kids VBS Saturday, July 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is for Preschoolers through incoming 6th graders and there will be a water slide, water activities and making tie dye shirts, plus learning about Jesus. August 7th, 2025

Caverna Readifest will be held August 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the school.

Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more information and to take advantage of these free community services, call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.

Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request service or ask questions. You can also visit hartcountypubliclibrary.us for more information.

Hardyville Union Church Community Cupboard is open 24/7 for donations and distribution. The exchange dropbox is located in front of the church on US 31E in Hardyville and is open for everyone. Leave what you can and take what you need. Anyone wishing to donate should leave canned and pre-packaged foods that are store-bought only.

Anyone diagnosed with type-two diabetes and obesity is welcome to see if they are eligible for assistance through participation in the University of Kentucky’s Rural Diabetes Study. A personalized plan with a nutritionist, home check-ins and educational resources are available to those who qualify. To learn more, call 859-562-0757.

 

The American Red Cross needs your help in 2024 as a volunteer. Around 1,000 people in Kentucky and Southern Indiana make up the organization's force of response and support.
