First United Methodist Church of Munfordville will hosts Wednesday night Community Dinners in the month of January at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The menu for January 23rd: roast beef Manhattan, mashed potatoes, gravy, green peas. Dance at Mt. Hermon Community Center will be held Friday, January 18th, featuring Generation. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the dance begins at 7:00 p.m. Concessions will be available.


January 20th, 2019

Angela Seng will sing at the Faith Independent Church on Sunday, January 20th, at 11:00 a.m. Angela will also be sharing information about her Mission for Dolls Ministry as well as collecting Hot Wheels for needy children. The church is located just off Hwy. 88 on Hwy. 1854 between Hardyville and Munfordville.


January 26th, 2019

A benefit concert for Cave City Volunteer Fire Department will be held Saturday, January 26th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Cave City Convention Center. Music will be provided by Jeff Parker & Company, formerly of Daily & Vincent and the opening act will be Arthur Hatfield & Buck Creek. Tickets can be purchased from any fireman, from the Cave City Convention Center or at the door. Admission is $15.

Bro. Joe Milby will preach at the Light House Church on Sunday, January 27th, at 5:00 p.m. The church is located on 680 Old Glasgow Road in Horse Cave. The pastor is Bro. Bobby Neal.

Knoxes Creek Baptist Church will have food, fun and fellowship after their Sunday morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th. Soup and sandwiches will be available with various games for all ages and fellowship. The church is located one mile off 31-E on Hwy 566 in the Linwood community. The pastor is John Batcher.

Theatre Therapy for Young Artists on the Autism Spectrum will be held April 1st - 5th for 1st through 8th graders diagnosed with ASD. The location will be the Phoenix Theatre, on Morris Alley, Bowling Green from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per camper and limited financial aid is available.
