Rock of Christ Church at 208 East Main Street, Horse Cave, is presenting the dvd "End Time Prophecy" every Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. The dvd is about an hour long. Everyone is welcome.

ARK - Animal Rescue Kare, will offer Spay-Neuter-Rabies vouchers on Saturday, February 22nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hart County Extension Office in Munfordville. For $35, you may purchase a voucher with the county's vets. There will be 80 available on a first come - first served basis with one per household and you must be a Hart County resident. Please bring proof of Hart County residency (driver's license, utility bill, etc.) Unlimited cat vouchers are available for BRAWA in Glasgow for $25.

Mt. Hermon Community Center will be closed Saturday, February 22nd, and will reopen Friday, February 28th, featuring Blue Diamond.

Wednesday night Community Dinner will be held during the month of February at the First United Methodist Church of Munfordville. On Wednesday, February, 26th, it's Roast Beef Manhattan, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and a drink. The meal will be served from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The requested donation is $7 per person for ages 6 and up. Carry out is available and a limited delivery area for shut-ins, call 270-524-4173.

 

March 1st, 2020

Hart County 4-H Radio Auction will begin Monday, March, 2nd, at 9:00 a.m. on Studio 101 - WLOC. All proceeds will go to the Hart County 4-H youth program.

A benefit singing will be held for Lynn Manning on Saturday, March 14th, at Faith Tabernacle Church at 744 Pearl Street, Bowling Green. There will be food for a donation from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the singing will begin at 5:00 p.m. Guest singers include, The Brown Family, Battle Cry and The Sextons. The Elizabethtown St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-powered organization dedicated to raising money for children's cancer research, will host it’s 10th signature head-shaving event at The Historic State Theater on March 21, 2020 from 4:00-6:30PM EST (registration begins at 3:30pm). Events leading up to the shave-down include the following: March 15th (tickets online) a family movie, Shrek, at the Crowne Pointe theater, March 17th “Bald Run” (run with swim caps) at Running Soles’ Tuesday group at 6PM - $5 suggested donation. After the event on March 29th Beech Bend’s Magician, Dinky Gowen, will perform at the Upton Community center at 3pm est (tickets online). The March 21st main event will begin with a bagpiper, The Dance Centre of Elizabethtown will perform & teach the Irish Jig (dance), Josh Johnson with E-town Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing will do a fight demonstration for kids. The Kentucky State Police is featuring the rugged Jeep Gladiator Rubicon to support their fundraising efforts for Trooper Island Camp. The agency is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win this multipurpose vehicle recently named “2020 Pickup of the Year”. Tickets are $10 each and will be available at any KSP post located throughout the state. Tickets are also available to be purchased online by debit or credit card payment at https://squareup.com/store/trooper-island-inc. They can be purchased at the KSP booth at the Farm Machinery Show at the Kentucky Exposition Center Feb. 12-15 as well. The winning ticket will be drawn on Aug. 30, 2020 at the Kentucky State Fair.
