Whickerville Baptist Church Youth Group Yard Sale & Bake Sale will be held Saturday, June 14th, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be clothes shoes, home decor, etc. Clothes are $2 per bag and the bags will be provided. For more information, contact Bro. Brock Stilts at 270-670-4301.
Bear Wallow Lodge in Cave City will serve breakfast Saturday morning, June 14th, at the Lodge, beginning at 6:00 a.m. Sausage, gravy and biscuit, coffee and more.

Brother Eli Johnson from Columbus Indiana will be preaching at the Lighthouse Church Monday night, June 16th, and Tuesday night, June 17th, at 6:00 pm. Brother Bobby Neal invites everyone to attend. Church is located 680 Old Glasgow Rd, Horse Cave.
Glasgow Faith Church presents Camp Chaos VBS the week of June 16th. The church is located at 3050 Old Bowling Green Road, Glasgow and the hours are 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. All ages are welcome and there will be classes, crafts, music and a cookout Friday night, June 20th. There will also be a program Saturday morning, June 21st, at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Hart County Schools 2025 Summer Feeding program will be held now through Friday, June 27th. The summer food program is for children under 18 years of age and it will be Monday through Friday each week. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Pickup location is at Hart County High School on the Lonoke Road side of the building. Eat on site or take your meal with you.

The annual Hart County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet will be 6pm Tuesday, June 17th at the Hart County Fairgrounds Floral Hall Building. Visit hartcountyky.org or call the chamber office at 270-524-2892 for tickets and information.

Vacation Bible School is being held June 18th through June 22nd, nightly from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This year's theme is "Rock of Ages" for children 3 years up to high school seniors. There will be music, games, crafts, a light meal. Sunday, June 22nd, service will begin at 10:30 a.m. where children will celebrate their time at VBS and there will be a meal and waterslides to follow. Please bring a towel and extra clothes. Celebration on Sunday will end at 3:00 p.m. The church is located 7 miles east of Horse Cave on Hwy 218 in the LeGrande community. For more information, call 270-786-4339.
FEMA Disaster Assistance is available for families and businesses which have been affected by recent storms in Hart County. A Disaster Recovery Center is located at the Community Center at 7035 Raider Hollow Road, Munfordville. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9a.m. to 7p.m. and Sundays 1p.m. to 7p.m. For more information, call 1-800-621-3362 or use online registration at DisasterAssistance.gov. The deadline to apply is July 25th, 2025.

From the Abundance of the Hart food commodities will be distributed on Friday (June 20th) from 10:30am - 2pm at the rear entrance of Munfordville Baptist Church. Pick up is a drive-thru process. "In the Hart Car Show" is set for Saturday, June 21st, on the court house square in Munfordville. Registration begins at 9am with awards given at 1pm. Entry fee is $20. Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) is hosting a spay-neuter voucher event on Saturday, June 21st, from 10am until Noon at Munfordville First United Methodist Church (just East of Hart County High School on KY 88). A limited number of vouchers will be offered for Riverside Animal Clinic, Leitchfield Vet Clinic and Country Critters in Elizabethtown. Dog Vouchers are $50 and Cat Vouchers are $35. BRAWA cat vouchers will be available for $25. The event is for Hart County residents, only.

Hart County High School parking lot on the Lonoke Road side. Come out and donate
school supplies for our kids in Hart County.

Horse Cave Cultural District Arts & Sciences Summer Camp will be held during the week of July 14th-17th. Ages 5-8 will learn Art 1 STEAM projects and ages 9-12 will learn about Rocketry and Cave Adventures.

Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and
offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services
like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more
information and to take advantage of these free community services, call
270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.
Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The
service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those
with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request
service or ask questions. You can also visit hartcountypubliclibrary.us for more
information.
Hardyville Union Church Community Cupboard is open 24/7 for donations and
distribution. The exchange dropbox is located in front of the church on US 31E
in Hardyville and is open for everyone. Leave what you can and take what you
need. Anyone wishing to donate should leave canned and pre-packaged foods that
are store-bought only.
Anyone diagnosed with type-two diabetes and obesity is welcome to see if they
are eligible for assistance through participation in the University of
Kentucky’s Rural Diabetes Study. A personalized plan with a nutritionist, home
check-ins and educational resources are available to those who qualify. To learn
