The Way Church on Hwy 218 in Horse Cave is open with shelter and heat for anyone who is homeless or in need of a warm place during the winter storm.

Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) will be having a Valentine Special Cat Voucher Sale on Friday, February 13th from 3pm-4pm at Community Action of Hart County, located at 509 Whitman Lane in Munfordville. A limited number of cat vouchers for Barren River Animal Welfare Association will be available for $10. There is a limit of two per household. You must be a Hart County Resident. Additional BRAWA cat vouchers will be available for $35. The special offer is made possible through a grant from Central Kentucky Community Foundation and ARK. A special thanks goes out to Community Action for use of the building for the event.

Hart County High School is hosting their annual career fair on Thursday, February 19th, from 8am until Noon. Lunch will be provided for those interested in participating as a career vendor. The Hart County 4-H Annual Radio Auction on WLOC is now set. It's a great opportunity to grab great deals on everything from retailer gift certificates and merchandise to homemade baked goods... And it's a lot of fun! Join us during the week of March 29th to bid, buy and support Hart County 4-H.

Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more information and to take advantage of these free community services, call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.

Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request service or ask questions.
