Vacation Bible School will be held Wednesday through Saturday, June 21st - 24th, at Horse Cave Church of Christ. The hours Wednesday through Friday will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until noon.

The 16th Annual Norm Taylor Golf Scramble for Kosair Charities will be held Saturday, June 24th, at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at Kentucky Hills Golf Course in Summer Shade. The cost is $40 per person. Registration will be held the day of the tournament.

Vacation Bible School will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Sunday, June 25th through Friday, June 30th, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. nightly. The theme will be Galactic Starveryors - Discovering the God of the Universe. The church is located on 3 1/2 miles from Bonnieville on Hwy 728 and the pastor is Bro. Billy Joe Foster.

 

The Schofields from Jamestown, TN, will sing at the Faith Independent Church Sunday, June 25th, at 11:00 a.m. The church is located just off Hwy. 88 on Hwy. 1854 between Hardyville and Munfordville.

Knoxes Creek Baptist Church will hold their annual VBS for classes preschool through 6th grade June 26th-29th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday will be family night to showcase what the children have learned. The church is located on Hwy 566 in Linwood. The pastor is Rev. John Batcher.

 

 

July 1st, 2017

 

4th of July Celebration Parade will be Saturday, July 1st, at 5:00 p.m. in downtown Cave City. There will be live music, featuring Green River Band, and free BBQ. The parade will honor our veterans. For more information, call 270-773-2188.

Bowling Park in Edmonton will celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 2nd, with a gigantic fireworks display at dark. Admission is free. There will be free activities for the kids, inflatables, contest with a cornhole and horseshoe tournament, as well as an apple pie eating contest. Concessions will be available.  It all starts at 6:00 p.m.

July 8th, 2017

 

The 1st Annual Dustin Matthews Memorial Auto Show will be held Saturday, July 8th, at the Cave City Convention Center with cars, trucks, semis, bikes and tractors. All entries are $10 and registration begins at 9:00 a.m. There will be food, music, door prized and proceeds will go toward the Annual Dustin Matthews Scholarship.

 

 

July 9th, 2017

 

The Tennessee River Boys will be the guest singers at Grace Union Baptist Church for homecoming on Sunday, July 9th. Sunday school starts at 10:00 a.m. with singing at 11:00 a.m. There will be a potluck meal and no evening service. The church is located 3 1/2 miles from Edmonton on Hwy 496, the Subtle Road. The pastor is Bro. Troy Cook.

A summer kidsí event called Maker Fun Factory VBS will be hosted at Munfordville Baptist Church from Sunday, July 9th, to Thursday, July 13th.  Kids will  participate in Bible-learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, and experience Bible adventures. Maker Fun Factory is for kids from age 3 to 6th grade and will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. The church is located at 501 Northwest Street in Munfordville.
