Due to scheduling conflicts, the regular monthly board meeting for Hart County Ambulance Service has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 25th, at 7:45 a.m.

Food giveaway will be held at Imanuel Ministry Church in Legrande in the gym Tuesday, November 24th, in the afternoon until 4:00 p.m. The food is for those who lost their SNAP benefits recently and are short on food. For more information, call 270-528-1997

The Annual Cave City Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lighting Contest is underway. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place signs and publicity will be awarded for: business lighting, residential-traditional, and residential-unusual. Hart County Christmas Parades are set for Saturday, December 6th. Horse Cave's parade is at 10am. Call city hall for details at 270-786-2680. Munfordville's parade is at 1pm. Go to visitmunfordville.com for details and to sign up.

Breakfast with Santa will be held Saturday morning, December 6th, at Hiseville Volunteer Fire Department. The breakfast will be served 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Santa will be there 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  The menu includes: ham, sausage, pancakes, white gravy and chocolate gravy with biscuits. Come out and support local volunteers. Donations are appreciated and socks for seniors will also be collected.

Faith Independent Church will present a Christmas play entitled "A Christmas Variety Show" on Sunday, December 7th, at 5:00 p.m. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served following the play. The church is located at 230 Boyd's Knob Road, Munfordville. The pastor is Bro. Joey Sexton.

Cave City Chamber of Commerce presents the 2025 Cave City Christmas Parade Saturday, December 13th, at 6:00 p.m. The Grand Marshals will be Terry, Debbie, Bobby & Wilma Bunnell. There is no entry fee. Limited food truck and vendor spots are available downtown. Call City Hall at 270-773-2188 to reserve a spot. And applications for the parade can be found online at cave citychamber.com. Enjoy Cookies with Santa and Mrs. Claus following the parade at City Council Chambers on Duke Street at 7:00 p.m.

The annual Toys For Tots Drive is underway. Bring a new toy to Munfordville Welcome Center and make a local child's Holiday wishes come true!

WLOC Clothes for Kids helps support many needs for students in Hart County and Caverna Schools. Winter and the holidays are the highest demand on the organization. To send a tax-deductible donation, mail it to Clothes for Kids, PO Box 98, Horse Cave, KY, 42749.

Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more information and to take advantage of these free community services, call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.

Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request service or ask questions.
