September 7th, 2024
A Cave Country Breakfast will be served by Cave Country Lions Club Saturday, September 7th, from 7 to 10 a.m. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuit & gravy, coffee and juice and will be held at Cave City Community Center. The cost is $8 and all proceeds go toward community projects and charities. The Lions Club provides eyeglasses for the less fortunate and recycle eyeglasses for third world countries. They sell RADA & Quasquibicentennial Cookbooks and you may drop off your used eyeglasses. Also bring non-perishable food items which will be given to Pathfinders Food Pantry.
A yard sale to benefit WJCR Christian Youth Group will be held Saturday, September 7th, in Upton across from the Fire House at 8:00 a.m. Donations are welcome.
Girls Softball Tournament will be held Saturday, September 7th, at 8:00 a.m. The tournament will be held at Munfordville Sports Complex in Munfordville and is for 10 & under; 12 & under, & 14 & under.
Munfordville Tourism Commission continues the 2nd Annual Summer Nights Concert Series lineup. Free concerts will occur on select Saturday nights in downtown Munfordville. The next date is September 7th with Ricochet with Cam Thompson. Food trucks and vendors will open at 3:00 p.m. with entertainment at 6:00 p.m. There will be various activities. Rivers Edge from Louisville, will sing at Faith Independent Church Sunday, September 15th, at 6:00 p.m. The church is located at 230 Boyds Knob Road, Munfordville. The pastor is Bro. Joey Sexton.

If you're dealing with depression, anxiety or fear, you're invited to a Deliverance Service. The service will be held at Christian Worship Center on Main Street in Horse Cave, Wednesday, September 18th, at 6:00 p.m.
September 20th, 2024
Heritage Festival will be held Friday, September 20th, with vendors opening at 4:00 p.m. and at 5:00 p.m. there will be the Color Me Purple Pageant.
Saturday, September 21st, there will be a pancake breakfast at the Historic Thomas House from 7-10am and also a 5K beginning at 8am at Maple Ave. Park.
Vendors will open at 9:00 a.m. along with the Classic car and truck show at Horse Cave Baptist Church parking lot. Quilt show starts at 11:30am - 2:00pm at the Horse Cave Christian Church, a Chalk Art Contest on Water St. from 10am to noon, a Kid's pedal pull at 10:30am at German American Bank parking lot, along with the Smile at Me Playground (In Memory of Carsyn Drew Tucker).
There will also be a mechanical bull, inflatables, (2) Dunk tanks and lots of Food Trucks, vendors and Live music on 2 stages. A few of the booths will have some raffles on corn hole boards and on a rifle.

The Singing Cookes will be in Upton Saturday, September 28th, at 6:30 p.m. at 11030 Raider Hollow Road. Concession stand will be available along with seats inside but feel free to bring lawn chairs if you wish to sit outside. All proceeds go to the Cooke Family. For more information, call 270-537-5085.

Jason Gedda's Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, September 29th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hart County High School Football practice field. Open to everyone and refreshments will be served. Paul Grider will open with prayer.
Bro. John Campbell will preach at Lighthouse Church in Horse Cave Sunday night, September 29th, at 5:00 p.m. The pastor is Bro. Bobby Neal.
Daywind recording artist "The Sound" from Nashville, TN will be in concert Sunday, September 29th, at Southside Baptist Church, 2727 Scottsville Rd, Glasgow. The singing begins at 6:00 p.m. and there is no admission. A love offering will be taken. For more information, call 270-670-5144.
September 30th
Tent Revival will be held Monday, September 30th, through Friday, October 4th, at 7 p.m. nightly. The revival will be directly across from the Kentucky Action Park in Cave City. The event is hosted by The Glory House and Creekside Church.
