WLOC is getting ready for the Annual Nursing Home Visit Monday, December 15th, at 9:00 a.m. at Signature HealthCare of Hart County in Horse Cave. Please get monetary donations in by Wednesday. We hope you will join us and share the Christmas story with the residents.

Cave City Chamber of Commerce presents the 2025 Cave City Christmas Parade Saturday, December 13th, at 6:00 p.m. The Grand Marshals will be Terry, Debbie, Bobby & Wilma Bunnell. Horse Cave Christian Church is holding a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Wednesday, December 24th, at 4:00 p.m. The church location is 105 Guthrie Street in Horse Cave behind German American Bank.

There will be no service Christmas Eve at Glasgow Faith Church.

December 31st, 2025

Glasgow Faith Church at 3050 Old Bowling Green Road, will have regular service Wednesday, December 31st, at 7:00 p.m. with snacks afterward. The church is located at 3050 Old Bowling Green Road, Glasgow and the pastor is Bro. Roger Poynter.

The annual Toys For Tots Drive is underway. Bring a new toy to Munfordville Welcome Center and make a local child's Holiday wishes come true!

WLOC Clothes for Kids helps support many needs for students in Hart County and Caverna Schools. Winter and the holidays are the highest demand on the organization. To send a tax-deductible donation, mail it to Clothes for Kids, PO Box 98, Horse Cave, KY, 42749.

Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more information and to take advantage of these free community services, call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.

Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request service or ask questions.
