March 14th, 2026

 A benefit for Dennis Mack to help with expenses will be held Saturday, March 14th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Building at Lighthouse Church in Horse Cave on 680 Old Glasgow Road, just off Hwy 218. Singers will include the Harpers & Crossing Over Jordan. There will be an auction with various items and cakes and a free will offering will be taken up. For more information, call Bro. The Kentucky Southern Gospel Music Singing Convention will host a gospel singing at the Rock Church in Campbellsville on Saturday, March 14th, at 4:00 p.m. central time. Everyone is invited.

 

UCW Caverna Supershow 26 will be held at Caverna High School Gym Saturday, March 14th, with bell time at 6:30 p.m. This is a Caverna Athletic Department Fundraiser featuring Hillbilly Jim & the Godwinns. Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) is hosting a Dawgy Dash 5K Run/Walk: "Let the Fur Fly", Saturday, April 11th, at Munfordville School. Join the fun by creating a team at runsignup.com/dawgydash. Food Truck Round Up will be held every 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month at Veteran's Park, 3324 S. Dixie Hwy, Horse Cave. There is limited seating - feel free to bring a blanket or chair. Cave City Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, March 21st, at 1:00 p.m. at Cave Area Conference Center. Age groups will be: 3 years & under, 4 thru 7 years, 8 thru 15 years, 16 thru 20 years, 21 thru 54 years and 55 years and up. There will be three grand prize eggs per age group. Photos may be taken with the Easter Bunny.

 

March 27th, 2026

Southside Baptist Church will present the Easter musical cantata "Living Hope" Friday night, March 27th, at 6:30 p.m. for family , friends and the community. Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) is having a Voucher Event from 10am-Noon on Saturday, March 28th, at Munfordville First United Methodist Church, located at 421 Hardyville Road (KY 88) just east of Munfordville. A limited number of vouchers will be offered for Riverside Animal Clinic, Leitchfield Vet Clinic and Country Critters. Dog vouchers are $50 and cat vouchers are $35. All vouchers include a rabies vaccination, if needed. There is a 2-per-household limit. BRAWA cat vouchers are also available for $35 with no limit. Participants must be a Hart County Resident and 18 years of age or older. Spring is here, and our cats and dogs are roaming looking for a mate. Please help control overpopulation... Be responsible and spay or neuter your pets.

The Hart County 4-H Annual Radio Auction on WLOC is now set for the week of March 30th. It's a great opportunity to grab great deals on everything from retailer gift certificates and merchandise to homemade baked goods... And it's a lot of fun! Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors. For more information and to take advantage of these free community services, call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.

Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding! The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953 to request service or ask questions.
