September 17th

The 2021 Horse Cave Heritage Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, September 17th & 18th. The Antique Tractor Show booths will be open Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Come out Saturday and enjoy the pancake breakfast until 10:00 a.m. There will be a 3K Run/Walk, along with the Antique Tractor Show, Antique Car Show/Cruise In, with a quilt show, kid's pedal pull and Chattin' on the Porch. September 18th

Fall Festival will be held at the Shepherd's House Church picnic area and playground area at 7464 Edmonton Road, Glasgow on Saturday, September 18th, at 4:00 p.m. Johnny Logan with JRL Creations will play gospel music, there will be a bounce house, sack races, swing sets, outside toys, lots of games and activities. Refreshments are free and door prizes will be given away. Please bring a lawn chair and visitors must register for the drawing upon arrival to be eligible to win. September 20th

Hart County Salvation Army Angel Tree Sign-Ups begin Monday, September 20th, for Hart County infants to toddlers that are not in the Hart County School system. Applications may be picked up at the Salvation Army Office at 119 E. Union Street (old Chamber of Commerce Building) during business hours: Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or you may call during business hours to have an Angel Tree Packet mailed to you,  270-528-7707. Applications must be returned no later than November 1st, 2021.

 

September 22nd

Mt. Olivet Baptist Church will have a Fall Revival beginning Wednesday, September 22nd, through Sunday, September 26th, at 7:00 p.m. nightly and at 10:00 a.m. Sunday. Bro. Leslie Jewell, pastor of South Summersville Baptist Church, will be the evangelist with special singing each night. The church is located 3 miles from Munfordville on Cub Run Hwy 88. Brother Cody Bumpus is the pastor.

 

September 23rd 

Linwood Baptist Church will hold a Community Revival Thursday and Friday, September 23rd & 24th, at 7:00 p.m. each night. Associate Pastor Ricky Bunch from Lifegate Church will be the guest speaker and Dennis Bowling will provide the music. The church is located at 7285 N. Jackson Hwy. (31-E) Magnolia. An outside revival will be held at Rock of Christ Church located downtown Horse Cave Thursday through Saturday, September 23rd through 25th. Speakers will be: Bro. Joe Milby, Sis. Teresa Payne and Bro. Bobby Fultz.

 

September 25th

Animal Rescue Kare - ARK - will sell $35 vouchers to have your pet spayed or neutered Saturday, September 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bonnieville City Hall. These can be used at Hart County vets' offices. Offer is good for Hart County residents over 18 years-old and one per household. Please bring proof of residency. Unlimited $25 vouchers for cats to be redeemed at BRAWA in Glasgow will also be sold.

Bro. L. H. Sexton Memorial Tent Revival will be held Sunday, September 26th, through Saturday, October 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday's preacher will be Bro. Ronald Riordan, Monday - Bro. Brad Davis, Tuesday - Bro. Roger Poynter, Wednesday - Bro. Joe Milby, Thursday - Bro. Joe Wilcoxson, Friday - Congregational singing, Saturday - Bro. Scott Coats. The tent will be located on the Faith Independent Church grounds at 230 Boyd's Knob Road, Munfordville. The pastor is Bro. Joey Sexton.

 

September 26th

Rowletts Baptist Homecoming will be Sunday, September 26th. Sunday School will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a joint worship service will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the new fellowship hall. The Joymakers will be singing. Bro. Scott Coats is the pastor.

 

October 2nd

Down Syndrome Awareness Ride will be held October 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the National Corvette Museum with kickstands up at 2:00 p.m. for a round trip to Mammoth Cave. There will be food, 50/50 raffle and 21 Designs silent auction. The cost for a rider is $25, and rider and passenger at $40. Pre-register now for a t-shirt and a chance to win 2 free tickets to the upcoming Toby Keith Concert at the BG Ballpark. Car Show will be held Saturday, October 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Three Springs Baptist Church at 5940 Hiseville Park Road, Horse Cave.
