Whickerville Baptist Church, located Whickerville Road, Hardyville, will have Vacation Bible School Wednesday, July 28th, through Friday, July 30th, at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Funday will be Saturday, July 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Cram the Cruiser event will be held at Family Dollar/IGA Stores in Horse Cave Friday, July 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All donations appreciated!

 

 

July 31st, 2021

 

Horse Cave Methodist Church on College Street in Horse Cave, will be holding Vacation Bible School Saturday, July 31st, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The theme is God's Amazing Nature and is for ages 3 and up. For more information, call 270--786-1288.

 

Christian Music Concert and Illusions will be held Saturday, July 31st, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Crow Holler Farm, 2715 Flint Hill Road, Sonora. The singing features David Sloan and Sloan Illusions along with Hush Harbor. Tickets are $10 at the door, kids 10 and under are admitted free, BBQ dinner is $5. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

Free Bethel Baptist Church will have Homecoming services Sunday August 1st, at 10:00 a.m. We're Blessed will be singing with preaching to follow and a potluck fellowship meal. The church is located at 10th & Broadway in Cave City. Bro. Donald Appleby is the pastor.  

 

 

August 7th, 2021

 

The ARC of Barren County will host an Annual Benefit Singing Saturday, August 7th, at 4:00 p.m. at Bethesda Church of God, 980 Roseville Road, (Hwy 2497) in Glasgow. Guest singers will include Mary B. Wood, The Kinslows, The Turner Family, Mission of Love and The Massey's. A meal will be available after the singing along with jewelry sales. Animal Rescue Kare - ARK - will sell $35 spay and neuter vouchers  on Saturday, August 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cub Run Fire Station. Vouchers may be used at Hart County vets' offices. Offer is good for Hart County residents, ages 18 and over and one per household. Please bring proof of residency. Unlimited $25 vouchers for cats may be redeemed at BRAWA in Glasgow will also be sold.

Bro. Claude and Elise Henley, from Cookeville, TN, will be preaching and singing at Lighthouse Church Tuesday, August 17th, at 6:00 p.m. Bro. Bobby Neal is the pastor and the church is located at 680 Old Glasgow Road, Horse Cave.
