Bluegrass Jammin' on the Porch session will be held Thursday nights in May at The Bookstore in downtown Horse Cave from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The bluegrass jam sessions are free and open to the public. Dance at Mt. Hermon Community Center will be held Saturday, May 26th, featuring the Skahls. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

A tent revival will be held beginning Sunday, May 27th, at 6:00 p.m. on the square in Edmonton. Nightly services will continue through Friday, June 1st, at 7:00 p.m. nightly. The evangelists will be Bro. Roger Poynter and Glenn Poynter with different singers each night.

Pike View Baptist Church 2018 Homecoming will be held Sunday, May 27th, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Seth Buckner & Family from Heritage Baptist Church in Texas will be preaching and singing with dinner to follow. A special souvenir gift will be given to all in attendance.

Edmonson County 4-H Pony Express Fun Horse Show will be held at Edmonson County Saddle Club on Hwy 101, Brownsville Memorial Day & Labor Day. The start time will be 9:00 a.m. Admission is $5 donation per carload/truckload and concessions will be available. For more information, call 270-597-3628.

The Hart County Famers Market will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays through the end of September at 515 AA Whitman Lane in Munfordville, near the Extension Office. Senior and WIC Farmers Market vouchers will be accepted.

Barren County Waste Tire Collection will be held May 31st, June 1st and 2nd. Thursday and Friday hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Kentucky Department of Highways Garage at 351 Calvary Drive in Glasgow. Tires can be accepted on or off the rim, farm implement, bicycle, motorcycle, atv, go-cart, tractor and semi-truck tires. No tires will be accepted from tire retailers, scrap yards or recyclers.

Animal Rescue Kare's 2nd Annual Dawgy Dash will be held Saturday, June 2nd, at 8:00 a.m. at Munfordville Elementary School. Registration begins at 7:00 p.m. with several 5k Race Categories. United Faith Independent Church will have Homecoming Services and Family Day on Sunday, June 3rd. Lunch will be served after the 11:00 a.m. worship service. The church is located at 7850 North Jackson Highway in Cave City. The pastor is Bro. Allen Harper.

Horse Cave Baptist Church is hosting GAME ON for children ages 3 to 17 years of age. Kids will learn that the goal is not competing in their own strength because God has already equipped them with everything they need. Game On will be held Sunday, June 3rd, through Thursday, June 7th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and church vans will run Horse Cave Routes in the city limits with 5:30 p.m. pickups and 8:30 p.m. drop offs.

Caverna Elementary Summer Literacy Program has partnered with the Caverna summer feeding program to offer free summer meals and grand slam reading from June 4th through June 21st (Monday-Thursdays).
