The Hart County Extension Office has scheduled three Restricted Use Pesticide Certification Trainings. The first will be tonight at 5:00 p.m. at the Hart County Extension Office in Munfordville. The second will be at Southern States in Horse Cave on February 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. The last training will be March 1st, at 10:00 a.m. at Crop Production Services in Horse Cave. The instructor is ANR Agent Chris Clark. You must have this training if you purchase any restricted Pesticide for home, business or farm use. Valentines Day Revival will be held at Samson Street Church of God beginning Friday, February 12th, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 13th, at 7:00 p.m. then on Sunday, February 14th, at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Evangelist Kelly Blankenship from Mount Sterling and Dee Dee's Faith Singers from Ison, Ky will be there. Friday and Saturday before and after service food will be served for a donation from 5 to 7 p.m.  Sunday at 1:30 p.m. there will be a potluck dinner. The pastor is Roger Kinslow.

The Camp Ground Church United Methodist Women are hosting a Valentine's Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 13th. The menu includes: ribeye, baked potato, salad, drink and dessert for $15 a person. Raffle tickets are now available through Camp Courageous for a chance to win a Classic 1966 Volkswagon Cabriolet.  The name of the bug is Gracie, donated by the former owners Michael and Karen Verst, of Union, KY. Cave Country Trails are offering free workshops open to the public. Workshops are led by a National Park Service Consultant and feature speakers from the KY Transportation Cabinet and KY Adventure Tourism.  Barren County workshop will be held Feb. 23rd at Mary Wood Weldon Library from 1 to 5 p.m. In Edmonson County February 27th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Hart County's workshop will be March 3rd, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Hart County Fairgrounds and Warren County's will be at the Public Library, March 31st, from 4:30 to 8 p.m.  A follow-up meeting will be held June 7th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Cave City Convention Center. 4-H Soup & Chili Luncheon will be held Thursday, March 17th, at the Hart County Extension Office. Dine-in, delivery or carry out will be available from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The cost is $5 and the menu includes: potato soup or chili and crackers, pimento cheese or peanut butter sandwich, homemade cookies or brownies (tea or lemonade included with dine-in only).  Delivery orders will need to be in by March 16th. From the Abundance of the Hart Food pantry will be open every 3rd Thursday and Friday of the month at the Munfordville Baptist Church.  You must meet the income eligibility guidelines and only receive commodities one time per month.

 

Hart of Autism, a support group for parents and educators of children on the autism spectrum will be held every -3rd Monday of every month at Munfordville Baptist Church at 3:15 p.m.  For more information call 774-1180.
