Christmas Community Singing will be held Saturday, Nov. 15th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Burley Barn at 4834 S Jackson Hwy, Horse Cave. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided. The singers include: the Schofields, the Sextons, Southridge Quartet with Christmas caroling led by Barry Hensley.
A benefit auction for Dennis Osborne will be held Saturday, November 15th, at Joyner's Chapel Church. The address is 3566 Fairview-Pascal Church Road, Hardyville and the time will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a chili super and auction for $8 per person. Munfordville First United Methodist Church is hosting their Community Thanksgiving Meal on Wednesday, November 19th, from 6-7pm. A $10 donation is requested for ages seven and up. The meal will feature turkey and dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, a roll and a drink, along with assorted pies for dessert. Carry out will be available. The meal is part continued building fundraising efforts and a time of community fellowship.
WLOC is getting ready for the Annual Nursing Home Visit and monetary donations are now being accepted. We invite churches, clubs, businesses, families and individuals to give to our area residents at Signature Healthcare of Hart County in Horse Cave. A Clothes for Kids Traffic Light Fundraiser will be held Friday, November 21st, from 1-5pm in Munfordville and Horse Cave. Proceeds will go toward adopting Angels from Hart County & Caverna Schools.

The annual Toys For Tots Drive is underway. Bring a new toy to Munfordville Welcome Center and make a local child's Holiday wishes come true!
WLOC Clothes for Kids helps support many needs for students in Hart County and Caverna Schools. Winter and the holidays are the highest demand on the organization. To send a tax-deductible donation, mail it to Clothes for Kids, PO Box 98, Horse Cave, KY, 42749.
Hart County Senior Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8am until Noon and
offers daily meals, activities, exercise equipment use and other great
services like informational programs on current issues affecting seniors.
For more information and to take advantage of these free community services,
call 270-524-1019. The senior center is closed on Holidays.
Bookmobile service from the Hart County Public Library continues expanding!
The service is open to any resident of the county and is especially helpful
to those with a busy schedule or has trouble getting out. Call 270-524-1953
