Cave City Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremony will be held Friday, May 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. You may want to bring a chair.
A Memorial Gospel Outdoor singing will be held Friday, May 22nd, in downtown Cave City at 7:00 p.m. The Golden Keys and Cave City local talent will sing. In case of rain, the event will be held at the Wigwam Full Gospel Church on Broadway.

Saturday, May 23rd, is Scout Day. It's a chance for boy scouts to earn their Railroading Merit Badge at the Kentucky Railway Museum. Scouts should arrive by 11:00 a.m. Girls can also receive a train trip patch for attending Girl Scout Day, they should arrive by 1:00 p.m. est. The Caverna Colonel Classic 5k will be held Saturday, May 23rd, at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas Doyle Recreation Park in Cave City. All ages are invited and participants may register online, in person at Caverna Elementary School or send in a completed registration form with a check for $15 payable to Caverna Elementary School.
Beulahland Baptist Camp in Summersville will be having Rally Day on Saturday, May 23rd, which is also the first meeting of the year with a memorial service for the founders. The evening service will be at 5:00 p.m. Bro. Brandon Fields, from IN, will be preaching and the Fields Family will be singing.

Friends of Mammoth Cave, a group of concerned citizens and community leaders working with the National Park Service started the organization in order to preserve and protect Mammoth Cave National Park. At the same time, the Friends Organization hopes to enhance visitors' and family experiences for years to come. The organization works to fund important projects and initiatives many of which are beyond the financial capacity of the National Park Service. The Friends of Mammoth Cave National Park receives no annual government funding, relying instead upon the support of private citizens, foundations, and corporations.
