Veteran's Resource Fair will be held Wednesday, March 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 410 Clavary Drive, Glasgow. This is a free event and all veterans, active duty, retired military, national guard, reservist and connected military families are invited to attend.

Mammoth Cave Hotel is kicking off Season 2015 by hosting an open house on Wednesday, March 4th, from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Main Lobby of the Hotel.

T. J. Samson Women's Conference scheduled for Thursday, March 5th, at the Cave City Convention Center, has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 26th. . The keynote speaker is Georgeanna Johnson from the show Extreme Weight Loss. There will be health screenings, educational sessions, lunch and snacks, style show and door prizes. United Way of Southern Kentucky (UWSK) is holding a region wide food drive aptly titled “Feed the Need” in Allen, Barren, Butler, Hart, Logan, Simpson, and Warren counties through March 7th.  Since its inception, United Way’s "Feed the Need" Food Drive has collected over 300,000 non-perishable items for local food banks in Southern Kentucky. Companies, organizations, and groups in Allen, Barren, Butler, Hart, Logan, Simpson and Warren Counties can participate once again by holding internal food drives now through March 6th. Volunteers are also needed to pass out flyers and collect donations at participating grocery stores March 6th (10am - 6pm) and March 7th (9am - 1pm). Participating grocery stores include select Houchens Market, Kroger, WalMart, Dollar General Market, Piggly Wiggly, Food Lion, Save-a-Lot, Priceless IGA, and Crossroads IGA stores in each county. The Annual Park City Lions Club Pancake Fry will be held Saturday, March 7th, from 6:00 to 11:00 a.m. This is an all you can eat breakfast consisting of pancakes, sausages, biscuits and gravy, milk, juice and coffee. A Christian Country Music Concert will be held Saturday, March 7th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Shepherd's House. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m.  John Steed and Mike Manuel will be performing. A benefit for Teresa Walters will be held Saturday, March 7th, at the Bonnieville School Gym. On Saturday, March 7th, and Saturday, March 14th, MCH will be presenting a day filled with acoustical music showcasing talented musicians from the local area. A Matching Benefit Auction will be held for Tammy Morgan on Saturday, Mar. 14th, at 4:00 p.m. EST at the Upton Community Center. There will be a gospel singing, cake walk, chili and soup supper and an auction. Tammy suffered severe injuries in an auto accident. All proceeds will go toward medical and living  expenses. The 11th annual Gospel Music FanFair will be held May 18-23rd in the Somerset Center for Rural Development’s performance theatre.  Daily events throughout the week include morning worship services, daily showcases, afternoon matinees, and the 2015 Gospel Music Fan Awards.   Open nominations are currently being accepted. From the Abundance of the Hart Food pantry will be open every 3rd Thursday and Friday of the month at the Munfordville Baptist Church.  You must meet the income eligibility guidelines and only receive commodities one time per month.
