Light Up Cave City will be held with a Chili Supper on Friday, November 22nd, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the former Replica Screenprinting Building on Broadway in Cave City in front of Gazebo. The event is being sponsored by Cave Country Lions & Leo Clubs.  Proceeds will benefit the club's local projects including: Caverna Christmas Angels, Senior Angels from the Nursing Home, Thanksgiving & Christmas food baskets. Bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids to recycle and new toys and coats are now being accepted for the Caverna Angel Tree.

 

 

 

November 23rd, 2019

 

Dance at Mt. Hermon Community Center will be held Saturday, November 23rd, featuring Broken Road. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and concessions will be available.

 

Monetary donations are now being accepted for the annual WLOC Nursing Home Visits which will be Thursday, December 12th. The public is invited to meet at Hart County Manor at 9:30 a.m. and then Signature Health Care of Horse Cave at 10:30 a.m. where we will sing and spend some time with the residents. Monetary donations may be dropped off at WLOC - Studio 101 radio station on 31-W in Horse Cave or mail to: P. O. Box 98, Horse Cave, Ky. 42749.

 

Mighty Warriors of Christ from Hopkinsville, will sing at Woodsonville Baptist Church Saturday, November 23rd, at 5:00 p.m. The pastor is Kendall Ford.

 

Temple Hill Fire Department Station #2 is hosting their Annual Fundraiser Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, November 23rd, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The cost is $5 per person and children under 5 eat free. The address is 7649 Roseville Road, Glasgow.

 

 

 

November 24th, 2019

 

Through the Fire will sing at the Lighthouse Church Sunday morning, November 24th, at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Bobby Neal is the pastor. The church is located at 680 Old Glasgow Road, Horse Cave.

Bro. Joe Milby will preach at the Lighthouse Church on the old Glasgow Road in Horse Cave Tuesday night, November 26th, at 6:00 p.m. The Grace Union Singers will sing. The pastor is Bro. Bobby Neal.

 

 

 

November 28th, 2019

 

A free Thanksgiving meal will be held Thursday, November 28th, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Rowletts. The Annual Glen Rice & Friends presents Christmas in the Bluegrass live at the PAC with special guest: Roger Conley, Ray Glenn, Pat Portman, Camille Turner, Sonia Thompson, Amber Martin, along with the Musical Concert Series Band. The event will be Sunday, December 1st, at the John Hardin High School Performing Arts Center. Concessions will be available for a donation.
